We employ Seasonal Gate & Concession Workers, Lifeguards, "Swing Guards", Swim Instructors, and Managers. Swing Guards work in Gate & Concessions throughout the first part of the summer, and then work as Lifeguards toward the end of the summer when our college guards go back to school. Swing Guards typically just finished their Freshman or Sophomore year in High School.
Applications are accepted year-round, but this is our typical hiring schedule:

Note: While we pride ourselves in hiring employees that grew up at Three Chopt, it is not a requirement for employment.

- Mid February - All applications for returning employees and potential employees are due to the General Manager
- Mid March - All applicants are notified regarding employment and New Hires are given an electronic packet containing required paperwork to be filled out
- Mid-April - All paperwork is turned in and work permits are secured for those that are required
