The Tsunamis Swim Team is a member of the James River Aquatic League. Our team is made up of over 100 swimmers ages 5-18. Registration opens on May 1 and practice begins May 19.
The season is 8 weeks long, with dual meets on Monday evenings in June and July, and a final championship meet in mid/late July.
Registration
Registration will open on May 1 on the membership portal. Please follow the instructions below to register.
- Log-in to the membership portal
- Under “scheduling” click “camps/classes”
- Click “2025 Swim & Dive Team”
- Click “sign up” next to the appropriate title based on age and team (swim vs. dive)
- In the drop down, select the name of the family member
- Click “add to cart” - repeat the previous steps if you are adding more than one child
- Click “View my cart & Checkout” and “continue to checkout”
- Click “Continue with payment and scheduling”
- Add your credit card information and click “purchase now"

Children are welcome to do both sports!
Turtles in Training is offered for children ages 4, 5, or 6 who can swim half length of pool unassisted. Same pricing as above.

Any 17 or 18 year old who has been on the swim/dive team for 5 years or more can sign up for $50 ($75 for both swim AND dive)

JRAC League |
The Three Chopt Tsunamis Swim Team is a member of the James River Aquatic League. The JRAC waiver must be filled out for EACH child. It is required before participating in any meet.

Volunteers Needed
We need a Clerk of the Course, head timers, runners, referees, strokes and turns judges, announcers and more.
These are simple positions and we offer online training.
